Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Somewhere hiding in South Australian Roads Corp. is a frustrated queen that wanted to be an interior designer. "My section of road is going to colour co-ordinate with the landscape" and it does. Red rocks, red sand, red road, only in SA LOL. Arrived in Coober Pedy last night after a long drive from Elrdunda. our original plan was to do an overnighter on the way but the parks were terrible so we just kept driving. We were in CP 30 years ago and nothing much has changed LOL. Most of the same shops are still here, the Croats still have a club here (they buy the opals) but the number of dining options has shrunk dramatically. Last night we went to the only "real" restaurant - Tom and Marys Greek Travena, which was good but the rest of the selection looks a bit grim. When we crossed the border yesterday we had to dump any food we had so Ron is off re supplying Miss G so home cooking tonight.

Perfect place for you. You were always so much better on the straight roads. Those pesky corners were the problem.

Come on, be nice to the little frustrated Queen, at least she painted the safety line on the road in the same color as the clouds are. That little Queen could have a hidden talent somewhere when it comes to color management LOL

Its wet season here in Thailand and today I saw the perfect item for your wardrobe. Talk about inappropriate use of materials...... A (faux) leather umbrella. The first thought that hit my mind was you sitting on a folding chair somewhere in a caravan park in the Northern Territory doing your best Southern Belle impersonation. Demurely batting your eyelashes at some passing man while twirling your leather parasol.

Leather brollie, sounds good to moi, Bathurst is just about to start with GT on pole - there goes the day LOL

Web based coverage is almost non-existent. Not even "hourly updates". All I know is that Winterbottom's backend went up in flames! How ironic is that!

red 1st, 2nd and 3rd yea there back. GT won but the drive of the day was Murph/Skaife what a combination, only lost because they got caught out by a pace car lap with only 20 laps to go but still came in 4th.
