East McDonnel Ranges

Yesterday we set off and started to explore the wonderful McDonnell ranges which surround Alice. It really is like walking around in a Namajira painting. The colours are amazing, the snow gums and those red red hills. Today is a bit of a rest day to get over the climbing from yesterday so we will head to the "Dead centre of Oz" and visit with Namajira and Lassister, should be fun.

ONE day rest after the little hill in Alice ???
Roli and I better plan to be away in 2011 much longer than just 4 weeks. After you climbed the Matterhorn here in Switzerland you need at least a year to get back on your feet, but don`t worry, we have meals on wheels and may be we can arrange a male nurse, one like the Aileron Man LOL LOL LOL

unfortunately we dreamed the dream last year and forgot all about this year LOL. Ron is not happy as Collingwood true to form got the Wobbles last night and gave Geelong their big chance.
